Terms and Conditions

Agreement

By entering an order with us, you agree to following terms and conditions and enter into a contract with Mio Metals, Inc. This agreement will be governed by the laws of California where Mio Metals, Inc is located.

Payment

Payments are due prior to production and scheduling. All orders are due in full prior to shipping. We accept Mastercard and Visa through our Google Checkout account. If you prefer to pay by check, you may do that through our ACH system on this website.

Schedule

Our typical production schedule is around 4 weeks. We will not be held responsible for any delays your project incurs at any time. Our timing is clearly communicated and if there is a change, you will be notified in writing with as much notice as possible.

Shipping

We ship most of our hoods via common carrier freight lines in wooden crates. The transportation company will unload the crates, but they do not do inside deliveries. Deliveries typically happen Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm local time. It is your responsibility to handle the crate upon arrival.

Our undercabinet range hoods ship via UPS in double wall corrugated cardboard boxes. ALL of our shipments are fully insured. If there is any damage visible upon arrival, you must notify us within 5 days. Any issues with the hood sizes, fabrication or finish must be brought to our attention within 5 days of receipt.

Copper Finishes

We fabricate from copper sheet which reacts with its environment. This includes humid air, heat, fingerprints and any acidic substances (such as tomatoes, lemons, etc). We pack our hoods to travel and arrive safely. It is possible for the copper to react during transit or prior to installation. If this occurs, please contact us as soon as possible with photos and we can direct you to the best remedy.

We are not responsible for any fingerprints, smudges, scratches or dents that may occur during installation. We are happy to consult you with a remedy if photographs are provided to us.

Privacy

We are a small business and we do not sell your information to anyone. We do use your information to contact you regarding our products, services and special deals. You may opt out of sales oriented e-mails at any time. We do use third party software such as Google Analytics to help us monitor and improve our website experience.
